- One-on-one consultation
- This service, which can be provided at your manufacturing facility, will help you better understand how your product line, processes, and corporate culture relate to green building.
- Technical assistance
- As you explore the green building marketplace, you may have questions about the technical aspects of green products, green buildings, and the LEED® rating system as administered by the U.S. Green Building Council. GBA can help you understand these and other topics with our trained experts.
- Product literature review
- Manufacturers commonly misunderstand proper marketing techniques for green building products. Our staff is trained to help you weed through “greenwashing” to ensure that your customers obtain the most accurate and up-to-date information about your green building products.
- JumpStart Assessments
- A JumpStart Assessment is a $5,000 micro-grant of services provided to your company for assistance in understanding and exploring the green building product marketplace. The goal of each assessment is to provide your company with a better understanding of how your product line and processes relate to green buildings, and ways you can improve them. - Certification and labeling assistance
- With the explosion of the green building marketplace, manufacturers are starting to see a bevy of product certifications and labels. Our staff is trained to help you determine if green product certification is right for your company and which ones apply to your products.
- Product Innovation Grants
- Product Innovation Grants are awarded to manufacturers for assistance in green building product innovation and commercialization. Proof of Concept grants are awarded in amounts up to $20,000 and full grants are awarded in amounts up to $100,000. There are certain eligibility requirements and prerequisites. - Online product directory listings
- If you are a Pennsylvania green building product manufacturer, distributor, or sales office, GBA offers a unique opportunity to list your products on our online directory. This searchable database assists architects, engineers, and consumers in finding the right green building product for their project. Don’t miss out on your chance to list your products for free! - Events
- GBA offers several types of events to help your company receive valuable green building information. We offer trainings on the LEED® rating system, green buildings, the green building marketplace, and much more! Click for a full listing of our events.

- Another great benefit to our clients is the Green Building Products Initiative Network. Members of this network receive free e-mail updates every month with current information about green building products, service offerings to help your company, and upcoming events!
